Overview

Allan Knowles is a Massachusetts real estate attorney with more than 30 years of experience handling closings and title issues in every county throughout the state. During that time, he has conducted hundreds of residential real estate transactions representing many different lenders, buyers, sellers and refinancing homeowners, as well as advising several active single-family, multi-family and commercial property investors.

A New England native born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Allan received his law degree from Suffolk University in Boston where he also earned his MBA. After spending a couple of years in-house as a corporate attorney, he has primarily focused his practice area on transactional real estate law and related matters, both pre- and post-closing in nature.
In that capacity, he has also advised and represented in both state and federal court lender clients dealing with property owners facing bankruptcy, foreclosure and eviction issues, skillfully negotiating these difficult matters to successful and mutually-beneficial conclusions.
Allan enjoys many different sports and hobbies in his spare time, including weightlifting, swimming and hiking, as well as reading, cooking and watching movies. He and his significant other enjoy their frequent weekend getaways north to Maine and New Hampshire and occasionally south to sunny Florida.
